On Ealue Lake
Leslie Scrivener has been writing for the Star since long, flowery skirts were in fashion and people lined the highways to cheer on Terry Fox. As a cub reporter she covered Fox’s Marathon of Hope, and later, at his request, wrote his biography, Terry Fox: His Story. She lives with her husband and a changing cast of semi-adult children in a never-quite-finished modern house with a calming view of Lake Ontario.
Star Dispatches ebooks provide readers with exceptional long-form journalism from the Toronto Star newsroom.
