6:29 A.M. Although the harness races aren't until evening, there is plenty of early morning activity in the stables at Greenwood race track on Queen St. E. Among busy trainers this day was 29-year-old Diane Burke, who was wearing woolies and a snow suit as she prepared to exercise two of the
three horses she's handling, running each for eight laps of the course. Her third horse, Calabogie Abba, was given a rest from training because it was to race that night. It came third.
