What can I purchase on Star Store?
We're a unique online shopping destination curated by the Toronto Star, Canada's largest daily newspaper. Our distinctive product selection features historic photos, fine art prints, sports memorabilia, personalized pages, and hundreds of compelling books chosen exclusively for the Star Reader.
What types of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, Visa Debit, MasterCard, and personal cheques. Unfortunately, we do not accept American Express at this time.
I saw a product advertised in the Toronto Star, but I can't find it online. Can I still purchase it?
Although we try out best to keep a wide selection of stock, we occasionally only have limited quantities of certain items. Please contact us if you're having trouble finding a product.
Do you offer gift certificates?

How do I use my discount code?
Discount codes can be applied at the checkout page once you've added items to your cart. Please note: discount codes cannot be combined. Only one is permitted per order.
How do I change my order?
If you've made an error, or would like to change your order, please contact us. We will do our best to accommodate your request.
Can I track my order?
We do not offer package tracking at this time. Please contact us if you would like to inquire about your order status.
How long will it take to receive your order?
Our orders typically require 2-3 weeks for delivery. Depending on what product you order, there are a variety of different timelines:
- Books - 1 week via online orders, 2-3 weeks via coupon orders
- Matted Prints - 1 week via online orders, 2-3 weeks via coupon orders
- Sports Memorabilia - 5-7 business days
- Prints - 1 week via online orders, 2-3 weeks via coupon orders
- Frames & Plaques - 3 weeks via online & coupon orders
Where do you ship?
We ship to anywhere in Canada. Cost is $7.99 per shipment. A $20.00 charge applies to orders mailed o the continental United States (excludes Alaska & Hawaii).
What is your return policy?
- Any book in its original condition
- Any unopened (still in its plastic wrap) calendar.
- Any matted print (still in its plastic wrap)
The following items are non-returnable and non-refundable:
- Custom-ordered photos
- Non-matted historic photos
- Non-matted Raffi prints
- Digital files and photos
- Page reprints
We'll notify you of your refund via e-mail after we've received and processed the returned item. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 7 to 14 business days after we receive your return.
How do I purchase a picture that appeared in the Toronto Star?
You can request a picture that appeared in the Star via this online form, or via telephone at 416-869-4998. Please note, we can only sell images that specifically belong to the Star, or that were taken by a Star photographer, due to copyright restrictions. We are not permitted to sell images produced by freelancers, of professional sports/entertainment events, or from wire services like Getty Images/The Canadian Press.
A Toronto Star photographer took my picture, but it was not published in the Star. Can I still purchase a copy?
Yes, if the picture was saved in our digital archive, we can usually offer the image for sale. Please contact us & provide all of the details about the image you're looking for.
Can I purchase an image published in an older issue of the Toronto Star that is not on your website?
Yes. Please contact us to request an image.
Can I license a photo to add to my website, or to use commercially?
