St. John's Anglican Church, York Mills
Artist: John F. Clymer, published in The Star Weekly Dec. 23, 1933
Christmas morning at St. John's Anglican Church, York Mills. This painting, done specially for The Star Weekly, shows one of the most historic churches in Ontario, which has recently celebrated the ninetieth anniversary of the present building, on a site where there has been a church for 123 years. Generation after generation of worshipers have entered its doors on joyous Christmas Day. The church is located on a hill and is a striking landmark.
